Ceramic Painting Workshop
Join us for an afternoon of creativity with ceramic artist Tamiko Claire, founder of Tamiko Claire Stoneware.

For this workshop, Tamiko will provide a selection of her handmade ceramic cups for you to paint and make your own. Rather than starting with clay, you'll work directly onto the finished form, exploring colour, pattern, and illustration to create a piece that feels uniquely yours.
We'll have a selection of colours to work with, including indigo, green, black, and white. A range of fine to medium brushes and all other painting tools will be provided, making it possible to experiment with everything from simple patterns to more detailed illustrations.
Designed for both beginners and those who enjoy drawing and painting, this is an opportunity to slow down, get creative, and enjoy the process of making something by hand.
Workshop Details:
• Your own ceramic cup
Each participant will receive a handmade ceramic cup by Tamiko to paint and personalise.
• Colors & materials
A selection of ceramic-safe colours will be provided, including indigo, green, black, and possibly white.
• Brushes & tools
All painting tools will be provided, including a range of fine to medium brushes for detailed illustrations and patterns.
• Glazing & firing
Once you've finished painting, Tamiko will take care of the finishing and firing process. Your completed cup will be ready for pickup at ANDO approximately 3–4 weeks after the workshop.
• Complimentary matcha from ANDO
We'll end the afternoon with a cup of ANDO's signature matcha, served at the cafe. 🍵
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made by Sept 18 at 11:59 PM will receive a full refund. Cancellations after this time and no-shows are non-refundable.
